Our test kitchens have the most current cooking equipment replicating that used in commercial establishments, to facilitate precision testing. This way you know the product you receive will perform to your expectations. We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with family-owned Canadian chicken farmers to produce high quality products.
We are looking for an independent and driven recruiter to support our critical hires in our production facilities and head office. This role will also give you exposure to different divisions of our business, strategies development and much more. This is a 12 months contract role that can turn into permanent after the contract period.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Partner and advise hiring managers on the recruitment process: develop recruitment strategy with them, identify their needs etc.
- Bring new and innovative ideas forward to improve our hourly recruitment performance. Promote Sunrise Farms employer brand.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders based in different locations, being able to prioritize and deal with tight deadlines.
- Conducts regular recruitment reports to identify current recruitment needs and future trends
**Your Experience and Background**:
- Minimum of 2years of experience managing end-to-end recruitment initiatives in a fast-paced environment (agencies or corporate). Undergraduate Degree/Diploma is considered an asset.
- Collaborative self-starter and creative problem solver. You strive to seek out opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Experience with HR related systems or tools such as an HRIS / ATS, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
- Proven ability to prioritize duties/projects, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment with constant demands.
- Good computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A customer service orientation, sensitive to hiring needs and understanding importance of diplomacy and confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication.
