We are seeking a motivated and organized Dispatch Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dispatch Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient coordination of our operations. You will work closely with our dispatch team, drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our products/services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the dispatch team in managing and coordinating daily schedules for drivers.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Address any delivery-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery orders, routes, and customer information.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and delivery efficiency.
- Prepare necessary documentation and reports related to dispatch activities.
- Assist in resolving any delivery issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely loading of delivery vehicles.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in dispatch and logistics.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with geographical areas and routes is an advantage.
- Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
