**RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE**

À l’aide d’une torche à gaz, la soudure fond et applique de la soudure le long des bords adjacents des pièces à usiner pour souder les joints.

**PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS et RESPONSABILITÉS**:

- Souder des composants en cuivre et en laiton
- Vérifier la conformité des pièces par inspection visuelle et dimensionnelle, à l’aide d’outils de mesure conventionnels tels qu’un étrier Vernier;
- Vérifier la conformité des pièces selon les procédés de fabrication;
- S’assurer que l’aire de travail et l’équipement demeurent propres;
- Effectuer les tâches connexes demandées par le superviseur.

**JOB SUMMARY**

Using a gas torch, the solderer melts and applies solder along adjoining edges of workpieces to solder joints.

**MAIN DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Solder copper and brass components
- Verify conformity of parts through visual and dimensional inspection, using conventional measuring tools such as a Vernier caliper;
- Verify conformity of parts according to manufacturing processes;
- Ensure that work area and equipment remain clean;
- Perform related tasks as requested by Supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Professional/ vocational training program considered an asset;

- Displaying a positive attitude, working together as a team respectfully and professionally;
- Communicating in a clear and concise manner.
