Job Summary
As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Belimo Sensors Department by ensuring the efficient operation of all required processes. Your responsibilities will encompass assembling, inspecting, and packaging sub-components and finished products according to strict instructions and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, and package sub-components and finished products with precision and adherence to production orders, work instructions, drawings, and quality guidelines.
- Mount components necessary for fulfilling assembly orders, including hand soldering of larger components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Conduct thorough testing of PCBs and components using in-house testing equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and shared spaces.
- Collaborate effectively within the assembly team to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
- Provide support with logistics, packing, and shipping activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong time management skills and a forward-thinking approach to work.
- Prior experience in assembly and/or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate manufacturing equipment and basic electronic test equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
