Corporate Analyst

We are looking for enthusiastic and engaged analysts (one per region and multiple positions in HQ) to support our varied and unique programs. If you enjoy corporate communications, engaging various stakeholders and are looking to take your research and analytical skills to the next level then this might be the position for you.
**Job Summary**:
Major responsibilities include:
- Respond to enquiries by conducting research, analysing, compiling, vetting information and advising, making recommendations.
- Prioritize and coordinate requests by identifying, researching and analysing information, and preparing, drafting and recommending responses on behalf of the Branch/Region.
- Prepare and revise corporate documents and reports by keeping abreast of evolving trends, programs and initiatives, analysing client needs and compiling statistics.
- Coordinate the submissions for the Branch/Region's Annual Report, Business Plans, Business Continuity Plans and other similar products.
- Act as a resource person by giving presentations and training on various programs and tools.
- Review and analyse corporate and accountability requests Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) and National Security and Intelligence Review Agency (NSIRA) etc by consulting with managers, supervisors and others by collecting comments and drafting responses in concert with managers.
- Plan, coordinate and participate in various initiatives and special projects.
**Education**:
- Undergraduate degree and two (2) years of relevant experience; or
- College diploma and four (4) years of relevant experience; or
- High school diploma and six (6) years of experience*
The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense through a recognized credential assessment service.
Note: Any higher level of education could be recognized as experience.
**Experience**:
Relevant experience is defined as:
- Experience planning and coordinating activities (includes various administrative duties, such as: budgeting, travel, informatics coordination, preparing correspondence/reports, etc.)
- Experience in research and analysis for the purpose of extracting pertinent data and make the required recommendations.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships as well as collaborating as part of a team
- For the Transformation Hub Experience participating in business improvement projects/initiatives and/or business transformation initiatives in support of organizational change management efforts.
**Asset Experience (desirable but not required)**
- Experience in producing corporate communications related to policy and program areas and/ or strategic planning.
- Experience in: Business Continuity Planning; Records maintenance; SharePoint; corporate presentations; NSIRA; and/or ATIP requests.
- Experience using advanced functionalities of Microsoft Excel or other data programs, including the use of Pivot Tables
- Experience developing strategic communication products and change management tools/resources to enable and increase change management awareness (to various audiences) and maximize employee adoption.

**Conditions of Employment**:
For the British Columbia and Quebec region positions must be willing to work from the Regional office in Burnaby or Montreal. Relocation will be required.
**Notes**:
While we continue to explore opportunities for flexible work arrangements, however the majority of work in our organization must be done in the office and cannot be performed at home.
