Veterinary Assistant/receptionist

Kingston, Canada Gardiners Road Animal Hospital Full time

We are a busy small animal hospital located in the west end of Kingston, who works closely with it's sister clinic in the east end of Kingston. We are looking to add a full-time veterinary assistant receptionist to our growing team. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, reliable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual with the experience of having completed the VA certification, to come and be part of our family. We are looking for someone who has relevant experience /training in this field.

Some responsibilities include;
- Dealing with clients on the phone and in person in an appropriate and professional manner
- Performing different tasks on AviMark such as building orders, performing follow ups, booking appointments, processing payments, etc.
- Answer questions about clinic services, products and prices
- Keeping the clinic clean and organized
- Regular inventory checks

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Veterinary Assistant Certificate (preferred)

Work Location: In person
