London, Canada First Aid Training Junction Full time

The Training Junction is currently looking for exceptional part-time and casual First Aid Instructors.

Reporting to the owner, the First Aid Instructors will provide Canadian Red Cross first aid courses at various client locations.

**About Us**

The Training junction is located in London, Ontario and is an authorized Training Partner for The Canadian Red Cross. We are a small but growing company, with an energetic team of instructors and we are looking for dynamic instructors that are able to work 2 to 4 days per week. As we grow, there will be room for advancement and additional hours.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

As a First Aid Instructor for the First Aid Training Junction, you will:

- Prepare for courses to be delivered, including verifying adequate supply of training materials
- Travel to client sites (mainly in London, but some travel to St. Thomas or Woodstock may be available.
- Verify the list of trainees
- Deliver quality First Aid training courses in accordance with the Canadian Red Cross standards
- Use a variety of instructional techniques to keep participants engaged
- Ensure each participant understands the course content
- Administer tests at the completion of the training to ensure trainees have satisfied the requirements for certification.
- Provide supporting information to the Training Junction for the trainee certification process
- Maintain Instructor certification(s)Skills and Qualifications

**Skills and Qualifications**

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

- Previous experience delivering training programs
- Be organized and accountable for being prepared prior to each class
- Be comfortable speaking in front of large groups
- Work well with many different types of students from diverse groups and industries
- Be able to work independently
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Red Cross First Aid Instructor Certificate
- Criminal Record Check (including _Vulnerable Sector)_ is mandatory
- Valid Driver's License & reliable vehicle

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Competitive full-day rates, commensurate with experience ($150-$175 per day)
- Flexible Schedule. Work when you are available.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: $175.00 per day
