What will you do in this job?:

- Work directly with Banff Staff Housing team
- Complete repairs and attend to maintenance requests in staff housing
- Tracking of preventative maintenance and be point of contact for outside contractors
- Project work, such as painting, coordinating furniture moves, troubleshooting appliances
- Caring for walkways, lawns
- Garbage removal as necessary
- Support the Housing Manager with capital projects and staff housing improvements
- Bi-Weekly health and safety inspections of all properties, common spaces, and tenant units
- Aid in the preparation of the seasonal housing for subleasing

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

- Positive, can-do attitude
- Enjoy a variety of work, including both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Self-starter who can work independently with mínimal supervision
- Current Alberta Driver's License
- Able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Basic computer skills an asset
- Able to lift to 20lbs (often) up to 100lbs (occasionally)
- Prior maintenance or trade experience an asset
- Willingness to work evenings and weekend
- Sense of humor and appreciation of coffee preferred
