Cassellholme, a not for profit, charitable organization, operates a 240 bed Long-Term Care facility, and a Community Support Services program in the district of East Nipissing. Cassellholme is located in the City of North Bay which is situated within 3 ½ hours of both Toronto and Ottawa. Nestled between beautiful Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake, the district offers both urban and country living, with multiple recreational opportunities.

We are seeking a part-time **STAFF EDUCATION COORDINATOR** to work as a member of our multi-disciplinary health care team.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**

In this role, you will use your specialized knowledge and skills to
- Develops educational programs based on learning needs of staff, which incorporates an analysis of organizational needs, residents needs and staff development requirements.
- Oversees the staff’s completion of annual mandatory training to ensure compliance.
- Delivers workshops, programs, training and/or other types of educational activities in various forms;
- Monitors changes in the sector regulations, new technology, trends in the delivery of each service and ensures staff are trained appropriately;
- Provides back-up relief to the Health & Wellness Coordinator in the management of return-to-work programs, completion of Form 7, working closely with the employee, his/her supervisors and WSIB to ensure employee's health and safety.

**How do I qualify? Mandatory Requirements**:

- RN or RPN with a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Satisfactory CPIC with vulnerable sector screening;
- Minimum three (3) years experience in education program implementation, design development, delivery and evaluation in a health care discipline;
- In-depth knowledge and demonstrated ability in facilitation and presentation skills; using a variety of learning medium, such as e-learning, integrated multimedia and blended learning technologies, video conferencing, etc.
- Flexibility to work variable hours as needed (days, evenings, nights and weekends) to accommodate the delivery of staff education.
