At this time, we are looking to add an Account Executive focusing on Social and
Creative Events to our team.

This role is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional with experience in the
event and conference sector, with proven sales and business development skills. You
will have exceptional customer service skills with a strong focus on client relationships
and closing new business. You will also possess exceptional attention to detail and the
ability to create customized concepts to elevate our clients’ corporate and social events.

Based in downtown Toronto, the Account Executive - Creative Events will be
responsible for retention and growth of assigned accounts as well as the generation of
revenue from new business. This role will have to close rental equipment and décor for
small, medium, and large events taking place in Toronto hotels and event venues. You
will be responsible for all aspects of the event from the initial communication and
consultations through to final post discussion and evaluation with the client.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and complete all Event Rental quotations and proposals in the RFP
process and fulfill event requirements.
- Create turn-key décor solutions and packages using our Rental Equipment and
sub-rented Rental items and décor.
- Liaise with event organizer for all their requirements, floor plans, diagrams, rental
items, logistics, labor and graphics services.
- Meeting with client and facility staff to promote our company and build solid
relationships.
- Continuously updating all sales activities and outcomes in our CRM program.
- Create and provide detailed information to our operations team to fulfill the client
requirements.
- Manage and oversee all operations staff assigned to the setup/dismantle of your
client’s events to ensure efficient and timely setup and dismantle.
- Proactively troubleshoot and provide timely solutions for any issues that arise
throughout the process.
- Manage costs and maintain acceptable profit margins.
- Meeting sales targets based on forecasts and history.
- Manager and create your own detailed weekly schedule in advance and provide
to your supervisor.
- Your weekly schedule will include days, evenings and weekends as client and
event services dictate.
- Support and assist all Robinson team with various duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 Years of experience as Events Planner, Coordinator or Organizer within the
events industry.
- Certification in Hospitality and/or Events Management is a plus.
- Experienced with outbound sales to develop new business.
- Exceptional customer service & relationship building skills.
- Being able to work in a high-paced industry, juggling multiple projects and
deadlines.
- Ability to balance sales with operational processes.
- Exceptionally detail oriented.
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills with experience presenting to business clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and results focused.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask is essential.
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Operational background in the events industry is an asset.

Location: downtown Toronto
Terms of employment: Fulltime Hourly

Must be able to work flexible schedule including days, early mornings / late
evenings, and weekends.
