**About the Role**:
The House of Commons is currently looking to staff Team Lead, Disability Management position.

The Team Lead, Disability Management (DM) is responsible for planning and managing the delivery of disability management advice and services for Members, their staff, and employees of the House of Commons. Provides case management support and guidance to DM Advisors, managers, and stakeholders in facilitating the safe and timely return to work for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, and also in managing accommodation cases.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Leads a team, provides training and ongoing mentoring, coaching, opportunities for professional development, and advice, while promoting a healthy work environment. Manages workload by triaging requests and assigning work.
- Provides case management support and guidance to advisors for sensitive and complex files.
- Assists managers in developing and implementing individual accommodation, medical priority and/or return to work plans, for their employees, in collaboration with health providers, insurance companies or other external stakeholders involved.
- Coordinates communication between employees, managers, unions and external stakeholders for accommodation and return to work situations.
- Participates in the design and development of disability management programs and their implementation. Ensures legislative compliance and the integration and implementation of the Accommodation Policy and supporting procedures and programs.
- Collaborates in the development and delivery of awareness and education programs for managers and employees regarding accommodation, return-to-work, policies, standards, protocols and practices. Provides ongoing support to service sectors, as well as partners in Human Resources to ensure consistent interpretation and administration of the disability management programs.
- Establishes a client-centered service delivery model and approach that aims to ensure, maintain and continuously improve client service and support, while ensuring quality, integrity and alignment with best practices, organizational needs and priorities. Sets standards and ensure they are being met, while managing resources within set deadlines and keeping a focus on client needs.
- Monitors and measures return-to-work outcomes to enhance processes and practices. Examines and reports on statistical data and performs trend analysis related to disability management within the organization.
