**QMC Operations Manager - Eastern Canada**
Reporting directly to the COO, the Operations Manager will collaborate to develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure, be a solutions provider and manage continuous improvement.
The Operations Manager will work to ensure consistent adherence of minimum corporate standards and identify best practice & ensure operational efficiencies.
The responsibilities will include:
- Develops solutions (technical, financial & human) in order make the company more effective and competitive.
- Tracks & justifies expenditures and create ways to optimize financial resources.
- Develops and nurtures ongoing relationship with Service and its customers - works to anticipate their needs and how best QMC can meet and exceed their expectations.
- Develops and submit regular reports and suggestions for improvement on strategic and operational issues/concerns.
- Develops and nurtures strong communication channels with peers in the region and the corporate partners.
- Leads and develops staff - including responsibility for recruitment of new employees, setting objectives, evaluating performance & expectations, coaching and mentoring, working jointly with employees in the development of their career path, ensuring that adequate training is provided.
- Responsible to deliver the safety message to staff throughout the year to drive the safety culture within the organization.
- Measure and hold accountable staff for their responsibilities and performance.
- Develops and maintains a positive work environment for employees.
- Provides technical expertise to staff as needed.
- Acts as a positive change agent in supporting QMC’s new initiatives (operational and cultural).
- Supports and complies with all QMC’s policies, Quality System and Health & Safety program.
- Participates, when requested in department and health and safety meetings.
- Participates, when requested in internal and external audits.
- Maintains training records and relevant qualifications.
- Minimum attendance in the office is set at three days per week.
**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum B.Sc. or combination of education and equivalent experience in related field and industry.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in the Construction environment of which 4 years are at a leadership level and/or project management field.
- Excellent up to date knowledge of process and automation.
- Skills: customer service, mentoring, coaching, open communication, analytical, presentation, and overall highly-developed leadership skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to identify, plan, organize, prioritize and execute projects in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a dynamic project environment with changing priorities.
- Highly skilled in a Windows Office environment, knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, a must.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software an asset.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$112,639.06 per year
