National Field Training Audiologist

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Contribute to the achievement of GN sales and profitability objectives by providing audiological and technical training designed to increase clinician knowledge, skills, and familiarity with the GN product lines. Regularly communicate information on account and competitive activities to sales and sales management personnel and provide effective customer service to customers.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

- Provide ongoing in-person and virtual training sessions to convey product knowledge, update customers on new hearing aid technology, and other related technological issues.
- Supports new customer development by working in tandem with the Regional Sales Manager (“team selling” approach) and executing demonstrations of GN products.
- Provides all new customers training support.
- Contributes to the achievement of new product launch objectives by participating in the creation of technical presentations and training new and existing customers.
- As a partner with the Regional Sales Managers, supports the plan to exceed net hearing instrument sales budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Monitors regional data and allocates efforts accordingly to reduce the levels of returns, repairs, remakes and enhance Company profitability.
- Provides technical response/support to customers and covers the technical support queue as required.
- Develops a strong communication link with the Regional Sales Managers and communicates all relevant account information.
- In-house Training Support:_
- Provides internal training and product support for the Regional Sales Managers and in-house personnel.
- Contributes to the development of training courses and related materials.
- Administration:_
- Contributes to the maintenance of customer profiles and account records/files.
- Maintains expenses within published corporate guidelines.
- Maintains company equipment (computer, training devices, etc.).

EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in Audiology

LANGUAGE

Written & Verbal English, French is considered a strong asset

EXPERIENCE:

- Three years clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of hearing instruments and related technology.

- Communication by clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of forms to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the participants and helps them understand and retain the message.
- Innovative by generating creative solutions in work situations.
- Building customer loyalty by effectively meeting customer needs.
- Collaborative by using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to support a cohesive team.
- Effective verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Must maintain good standing with professional regulatory body, including Continuing Education Units (CEU). This includes staying current with technology and market trends.
