The CLAC Edmonton Member Center is currently accepting resumes for a full-time, permanent position for a Booking Specialist.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
The essentials duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Coordinate and schedule a wide variety of third-party health and safety courses, leadership courses and scaffolding programs for all provincial members, signatory employers, CLAC member centres and the general public.
- Coordinate and schedule specialty courses and group training delivered offsite and or in in remote locations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with signatory employers, vendors, partners and independent contractors.
- Liaise with signatory employer personnel to ensure training needs are being met with personalized service.
- Source new industry training vendors and courses across Canada and work with the CLAC Training, Alberta leadership team to negotiate pricing arrangements.
- Keep updated with all CLAC Alberta Training initiatives, course offerings, programs, CLAC Career Development College program offerings and industry changes.
- Market training services and products to all provincial members, signatory employers, CLAC member centres and the general public.
- Attend and support CLAC Alberta Training events and initiatives as required.
- Perform all duties required while fostering a positive team environment that is focused on exceptional service for both internal and external customers.
- Process payments via debit, cash, or credit card with products and services offered by CLAC Training, Alberta.
- Ensure all source documents and forms are accurately filled out and electronically filed in the appropriate location.
- Accurately record and maintain contact information and training course costs for all signatory employers, training providers, and members in the database, and any other statistics as determined by the CLAC Training, Alberta leadership team.
- Provide the Receptionist position with coverage and support if needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of high school or equivalency education.
- 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience is an asset.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Be a self-starter, self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and be able to multi-task.
- Have great people skills and work well in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create solutions to observed problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with database entry, scanning, and document management.
- Experience in Unionware and or Microsoft Dynamics would be an asset.
- Knowledgeable in Industry and trade safety tickets & certifications would be an asset.

**Reporting and Accountability**:

- This position reports to the Health & Safety Team Lead, CLAC Training, Alberta.
