Jasper Group Inc. is a Custom Home Design and Build Company that specializes in creating our client’s dream luxury home. We excel at working as a Team regarding all aspects of the project so that we can create the best design for our clients dream homes. We are currently looking for an upbeat and motivated individual to join our team as a Design Consultant.
**Roles / Responsibilities**:
- Completion of 2-D and 3-D Design and Construction drawings for permit (using Chief Architect Design Software)
- Communication with Planning and Building Departments
- Communication with Conservation Authorities
- Site measuring and re-creation of existing structure/s
- Coordination with clients, vendors, and sub-trades
- Scheduling Client Meetings
- Quoting
- Answering phones
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience
- Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology or Interior Design
- Good understanding of construction practices - site background
- Ability to hand sketch
- Effective Organization
- Effective Time Management Skills
- Effective Project Management Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as a member of the team
- Experience with computer assisted design (CAD) programs
- Basic knowledge of Chief Architect an asset
- Good understanding of the OBC
- Thorough understanding of structural review & sizing
- Understanding of Township and Conservation planning processes
- BCIN - General Legal, Small Buildings an asset
