**The Role**:
**Purpose**

As the Marine Scheduler, you will work as a part of the Trading and Supply (T&S) Team within the Trading Operations business. The Trading and Supply (T&S) team is at the heart of Shell's Downstream business and our primary responsibility is managing and optimizing the physical supply chain. Our goal is to deliver the right product to the right place on time while maximizing the overall margin for Shell. T&S brings Shell’s Trading, Supply & Distribution, and Commercial Fuels in Canada into one fully integrated business designed to create and capture end-to-end value for Downstream.

This role will support with coordinating operational execution of fuel imports and exports to/from Montreal and Ontario. This role is key as it ensures Shell Canada Products meets its regulatory compliance requirements and it helps with enabling the Canada Trading business with other third parties. In this role, you will work closely with the team, including the Eastern counterpart and the Marine Trader, to effectively move ethanol product across the country and be responsible for equity terminal inventory levels and third-party sales. Accountabilities:

- Schedule marine international tankers and domestic barges via various contractual terms
- Coordinating the mutual requirements and ensuring that proper documentation is handled amongst our internal/external customers
- Tracking of all costs relating to import, export and storage for accurate P&L reflection
- Responsible for managing product quality parameters/specifications to maximize profitability
- Responsible for daily updating/ monthly reconciling of inventory at terminals and adhering to end of month processes
- Interacting with oil and freight counterparties regarding post-deal activities (demurrage, inspection, wharfage, etc.) to ensure documentary requirements are met
- Understanding options contained in the Contract and optimize on these to deliver value to the bottom line of the book

Please Note: This position has a hybrid working setup with the expectation to be in the office 3 days per week and work from home the other days. As this is an operational role, You will need to be contactable outside office hours to oversee important activities or resolve unplanned operational issues. During the year, there are times when you will need to complete time sensitive month end activities on statutory holidays (e.g. Canada Day). Time in lieu will be provided to compensate.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than the current employer
