Rectory Cleaner/cook

**CLEANER/COOK- RECTORY**

Our Lady of The Assumption Parish in Stoney Creek is looking for a part time (15-20 hours/week) Cleaner/Cook for The Parish Rectory. Reporting to the Parish Priest, this position offers a competitive rate of pay and requires a commitment to work the outlined hours with some flexibility when needed.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Prepare meals as requested by Parish Priest

Clean dining room and other areas where groups may stay

Clean Rectory.

Mopping, vacuuming and dusting in all spaces of the Rectory.

Cleaning of laundry, Ironing and purchasing of household supplies.

Cleaning windows seasonally.

Watering plants as needed.

Emptying trash cans, recycle bins and take out garbage and recycling on the designated day.

Informing the Pastor of repairs and upgrades when needed to Rectory.

Wash and dry dishes.

Any additional duties may be assigned by the Pastor from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Education: high school or equivalent
- Well developed culinary and cleaning skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
