Parish Cleaner

**CLEANER / ORGANIZER**

St. Francis Xavier Parish in Stoney Creek is looking for a part time Cleaner / Organizer. Reporting to the Parish Priest, this position offers a competitive rate of pay, benefits & pension package and requires a commitment to work the outlined hours with some flexibility when needed.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Cleaning of the Church, Church Halls, Meeting Rooms, Washrooms, Rectory, and Office Spaces.
- Mopping, vacuuming and dusting in all spaces.
- Cleaning of laundry, Ironing and purchasing of household supplies.
- Cleaning windows seasonally
- Watering plants as needed.
- Emptying trash cans, recycle bins and take out garbage and recycling on the designated day.
- Informing the Pastor of repairs and upgrades when needed.
- Set up tables and chairs for events in Hall.
- Any additional duties may be assigned by the Pastor from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Education: high school or equivalent
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
