Dishwasher/cleaner

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher & Cleaner to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a crucial role for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

**Duties**
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service.
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and kitchen staff.
- Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling practices within the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Maintaining bathroom cleanliness
- Front of House cleaning as needed - vaccuming, sweeping, mopping

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and bending.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
