Administrative Sales Assistant

Company has been in business since the 1960's.

Looking for someone to:

- Provides clerical and minor technical support for the sales department.
- Record keeping responsibilities may include sales and expense reports, electronic databases and sales proposals for prospective customers.
- Freight quotes and arrange for shipments to be completed.
- Charge customer credit cards and process paperwork to fulfill orders.
- Follow up on outstanding money owed by customers.
- Send invoices and communicate concerns to sales representatives.
- Order Entry.
- Strong computers skills and use of Microsoft programs and basic office skills required..
- Answer phones to assist with getting callers to proper department.
- Initial training on product in manufacturing facility required for 1-2 weeks at start of employment.
- Experience in customer service is beneficial, along with having sound judgment, discretion and the initiative to drive organizational processes.
- Strong attention to detail is crucial as there are many details to be kept straight.
- High school diploma required.
- Monday - Thursday work week. Hours 9AM - 5 PM. 30 Hours per Week.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
