The Automated Manufacturing Systems Manager will oversee the manufacturing processes of the newly expanded automated cabinet manufacturing equipment line at Decor Cabinets.

**Who We Are Looking For**:
**1) Leadership.**
- Demonstrate company leadership values, creating a culture of learning and innovation in a supportive, collaborative environment.
- Work with Production Managers to ensure company goals are met.

**2) Optimize Manufacturing Operations.**
- Ensure the automated line meets production targets and lead R&D initiatives to boost productivity.
- Enhance workflow efficiency using system analysis.
- Work with technicians, engineering and maintenance to maximize uptime and availability of the line.

**3) Ensure Adherence to Product Quality Standards.**
- Decrease warranty claims, reduce product deficiency costs, and implement systems to enhance product quality.

**4) Maintain Functional and Appropriate Equipment.**
- Ensure compliance with preventative and predictive maintenance standards and SOPs, collaborating with engineering and maintenance to improve equipment OEE (overall equipment effectiveness).

**5) Support and Uphold Safety and Health Initiatives.**
- Conduct audits that help with safety improvements and ensure employees are well-trained in health and safety policy.

**Competencies**:

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Business acumen with experience in budgeting, business cases, and ROI.
- Effective communication style, with strong written and verbal reporting/presentation skills.
- Results-focused with quick decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Lean production principles is an asset.

**Experience & Education Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of production management or senior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
