**How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team**:
The Manager, Infrastructure, Security & Architecture provides strategic and operational leadership to the planning, acquisition and deployment of core infrastructure at TRCA. The role develops policies, procedures and guidelines to promote the effective management of network, cloud and on-premise data centre resources, and security infrastructure.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Leads the design and development of network, security and data centre services.
- Leads project and operational functions for TRCA's core infrastructure, managing distributed services across multiple office and project site locations. The role plays a key consultive role in the selection and acquisition of technologies in divisional business units is best suited for purpose.
- Works with technical staff and other TRCA stakeholders to identify issues of concern or gaps in service.
- Leads and provides continuity for the overall enterprise architecture and technology planning.
- Leads the development of corporate standards and procedures for enterprise architecture domains.
- Leads joint resource and budget planning and supports business case development for divisional priorities.
- Provides clear direction for the infrastructure portfolio in reviewing and revising annual business plans and associated key performance indicators.
- Ensures security protocols are sufficient, and architecture is able to support TRCA business needs.
- Leads the procurement and vendor relationship when solutions or services are purchased and integrated into TRCA’s systems.
- Prepares RFP's, Terms of Reference, evaluation of submissions and vendor selection.
- Provides regular reporting and status updates on key services and projects.
- Monitors budget and timeline and develops strategies to mitigate any variances to the project plan.

**What will you need to succeed**:
Education (degree/diploma/certifications)
- University degree in Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Valid Ontario Class G2 driver's license.

Experience
- 5+ years’ experience working with network and infrastructure management for a complex, multi-service/multi-site environment.
- 2+ years of progressive managerial, supervisory or project management experience.
- Experience managing Cloud and On-Premises data centre services, including resource and license management, considering enterprise security concepts and services.

Knowledge/Skill/Ability - Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office suite including online software such as MS teams, WebEx, and SharePoint and understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of corporate data management services, including back-up and recovery, archival solutions and disaster recovery processes.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts including COBIT, TOGAF or other methodologies.
- Able to self-manage workload and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Strong budget management and cost control skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate ideas, proposals, and project status for various audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build collaborative partnerships, and relationships with various stakeholders.
- Project Management experience and knowledge of methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare consultant terms of reference and procurement documents.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
