**Position: Security Analyst**

The Security Analyst will implement the information security program initiatives, administer cyber security systems, and assist with monitoring for detection and response to the new threats in Longos technology landscape. The Analyst, along with the Cyber Security team, will be integral in further developing the information security maturity of the organization as well as performing operational activities on implemented information security controls to ensure information security policies are being followed.

The role will be responsible for various activities to build information security including developing appropriate documentation, building awareness, implementing technologies, and identifying information security weaknesses with the objective of protecting information assets.

**What you’ll do;**
- Research and analyze the latest capabilities of Information and Cloud Security-related technologies
- Monitoring and maintaining the current security environment
- Providing schedule and ad hoc reporting as needed
- Actioning security related tickets and incidents
- Analyze and investigate and maintain security-related technologies
- Perform investigative research, analysis and troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and report complex security issues
- Collaborate with the MSS team to tune and enhance Information and Cloud Security solutions and technologies to keep up with the latest threats
- Working with Network and Infrastructure teams to address any discovered security-related issues
- Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities
- Analyze security requirements for public cloud implementation and integration
- Perform threat simulations to detect possible risks, and to provide security recommendations
- Work directly with the other experts in the Cyber Security team to assist in projects regarding Longos Cyber Security Program
- Collaborate with other team members on the security team on the Cyber Security Awareness program
- Respond after-hours to priority or emergency IT security-related events

**What we are looking for**:

- Undergraduate or College Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering/Cyber Security
- Knowledge of current network, infrastructure, and security technologies
- 3+ years experience working in a cyber security role
- Knowledge of IT / Cyber security solutions such as Multi-Factor Authentication, Risk-Based Authentication, Data Rights Management, Identity and Access Management, etc.
- Working within retail or e-commerce environments
- Knowledge of industry security standards such as ISO27001/ISO27002, NIST CSF, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cyber security awareness programs
- Knowledge about PCI - DSS and its requirements
- Security+, SSCP, ECSA, CCNA CyberOps or similar industry certification preferred
- CISSP, CCSP, CISM or similar industry certificates are an asset.
- Experience with the following or similar products:

- Office 365 Security and Compliance
- Cisco Umbrella
- ** **Cisco Advanced Malware Protection for Endpoints
- Troubleshooting Cisco AMP for endpoint/server issues
- The ability to create Cisco AMP for Endpoint Security expert rules or custom Access Protection rules is an asset
- Akamai - CDN / WAF
- Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solutions such as Splunk

**Working conditions**:

- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities often within tight deadlines
- At times may be required to work outside of normal working hours, On-Call rotation.
