Maintenance Supervisor

Belleville, Canada Bay View Mall Full time

Allocate workload and supervise staff (custodians/ janitors, etc.)
- Maintain positive relationships with contractors, service providers, and tenants
- Monitor inventory and place orders when necessary
- Conduct daily inspections of the facilities and its equipment
- Document daily reports and maintain maintenance logs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Perform minor repairs around the property such as drywall, paint, plumbing, etc.
- Fabricate or repair parts as needed
- Obtain quotes, plan, and oversee repairs and projects
- Salt, shovel, and snow blow, all snow and ice, from entranceways along with a 6ft edge around the entire building
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure a timely completion with mínimal supervision
- Conduct monthly fire bell testing & extinguisher checks
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
- “On-Call” 24/7 for after-hours facility emergencies
- Will be required to work the odd weekend/evening if short staffed
- Other tasks as assigned
- Reports to the General Manager
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
