Marketing Content Coordinator

Our North American organization is seeking a dedicated Marketing Content Coordinator to lead and implement our content creation and copywriting efforts. This long-term role involves inspiring, engaging, and motivating both current and prospective customers to choose the Lumon product. As the Marketing Content Coordinator, you will report to our EVP and be responsible for overseeing Content Creation and Copywriting in North America, mainly in the British Columbia and Toronto Business Units. As part of the Lumon team, you will work closely with the EVP, other Marketing Representatives, and Sales and Area Managers.
- Networking skills, team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Great writing skills and excellent English skills (Spoken and Written)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in Marketing or communications role
- Natural ability to tell stories
- Strong organization and time management
- Exceptional attention to detail, grammar and punctuation
- Photography and Videography skills
- Degree in Communication, journalism, or other related field
- familiarity with word press and website updates
- YouTube knowledge and optimization
**The day-to-day tasks of the position include the following**:
- Take ownership of the development of a wide range of engaging written and visual content (B2B and B2C Channels) that reflect our brand values and establishes the company as a pioneer in our industry on glass walls and sustainability
- Research industry trends and interview relevant stakeholders to guide content creation
- Drive the creation, development and deployment of all content assets across brands and channels on a global scale, leveraging compelling positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation and stories resulting in an outstanding consumer and customer experiences and strong engagement across platforms. Ultimately helping to drive sales and develop brand equity.
- Act as a gatekeeper responsible for the final review and proofreading of English-language content and tools
- Manage upload of assets to the global marketing database
- Wire, proofread, and edit content to ensure it is on brand and has a high level of readability
- Provide clear, concise, and transparent communication to the leadership team
- Keep up with news, industry trends, and hot topics to make content ideas more contextual
- Ensure the brand’s voice is being expressed on social media by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Use your strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) to create captivating content.
- Handle video shooting responsibilities, ensuring high-quality footage that aligns with our brand image and objectives
- Develop content calendars and schedules to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content and communicate to relevant parties
- Capture, create, script, review, and edit all pieces of content as required
- Liaise with external agencies and vendors
