With strong collaborations with universities, companies, scientific organizations both domestically and internationally, Hermay Labs Corporation is dedicated to the research and development of computer-assisted drug, cell-based assays, proteomics, drug delivery, and formulation. We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Coordinator as we expand our presence in the Canadian and overseas markets. The Public Relations Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance the company’s brand awareness and reputations, establish and maintain strong social and media relationships.
Duties of the Position:
- Collaborate with R&D team to understand the characteristics of products and services to be promoted, translate complex scientific concepts and technologies into easily understandable information to effectively communicate them to general public, media, and stakeholders;
- Conduct public opinions and attitude surveys of the target audience on their preferences, media consumption habits, social media engagement patterns;
- Advise the management on business expansion, collaboration and publicity opportunities, government regulations and policies to increase our lab’s visibility, brand awareness and ensure the compliance of products;
- Develop, implement and evaluate public relations strategies to inform the public of initiatives and policies of the company;
- Formulate and execute brand management plans to facilitate brand value promotion, reputation maintenance and crisis management;
- Oversee the preparation of brochures, briefs, reports, presentation, web sites and press to be released;
- Analyze and assess the post public relations plans and brand promotion campaigns, make report on public relations metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize success;
- Build positive relationships with the media to increase the company’s exposure and reputation in the media;
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with universities, research institutions, industry associations, scientific organizations and government agencies to facilitate business collaboration, research development and technology sharing;
- Establish good relationship with registration and regulatory agencies to ensure the company’s compliance with regulations and standards;
- Participate in community and environmental activities to deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders and promote sustainable development and social responsibility and enhance the company’s reputation;
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to inform public relations and marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
**Salary**: From $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
