**Position summary**
The goal of the RESET for Remission trial is to see whether combining exercise and a low calorie diet can reverse diabetes type 2. Under the direct supervision of the principal investigator, Dr. Kaberi Dasgupta, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, enthusiastic individual to join our growing, dynamic team.

**General Duties**
The incumbent will be responsible for the recruitment, screening, and enrolment of research participants into a clinical study, collecting and documenting research participant information pertinent to the studies in the clinical research files, as well as organizing and helping for research tests (including cardiac MRI, cardio-pulmonary exercise stress test, DXA, etc.). The incumbent will organize the follow-up of participants enrolled in the study to ensure that the protocol is followed correctly.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
- BSc minimum however a MSc degree in health-related field (kinesiology, dietetics etc.) is an asset,
- Training and experience will also be considered.

Other Requirements:

- Fluency in English and French (oral and written),
- Experience in a research environment,
- Good communication and organizational skills,
- Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects,
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team,
- Ability to work autonomously,
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, RedCap an asset).

**Additional information**

**Status**: Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)
**Pay Scale**: $42,260.40 to $78,460.20, commensurate with education & work experience
**Work Shift**: Normally from 8am to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays. Flexibility may be required
**Work Site**: 5252 de Maisonneuve
