**We are currently seeking a **full-time Dispatcher/Shipper** to join our team in Mississauga.**

**SCHEDULE**
- ** Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 11:00 pm**:

The Dispatcher is responsible for arranging and coordinating all outbound orders with couriers to ensure that Calea fulfills its contractual obligations and delivery standards. The Dispatcher role combines tasks of a shipping coordinator, route planner and warehouse shipper.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Assigns routes and prints labels for deliveries being prepared for shipping.
- Ensures that all orders are accurately labeled, scanned, routed, and checked prior to being shipped.
- Optimizes routes with density using shipping software to help in meeting the expected delivery times.
- Manage courier related charges and inquires.
- Responsible for notifying Client Services of all unsuccessful deliveries and changing the order status in the system.
- Performs general warehouse tasks such as ice pack management, receiving returns, processing unsuccessful orders, and other duties as needed.
- Handles the movement of temperature-sensitive items.
- Oversees self pick-up orders and processes payment as needed.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

Physical Effort: Ability to lift up 50 lbs. Role is 100% standing and frequently physically demanding.

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- High School diploma
- Minimum 2 years of route planning experience in the GTA preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Office
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels internally and externally
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with excellent continuous improvement skills
- Ability to work in broad temperature range environment
- Flexible, closing shift requires frequent overtime to complete day activities
- Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
