- Stackpole, a Johnson Electric Company is excited to announce we are now recruiting for a Materials Production Control Supervisor at our Mississauga facility._

Major Responsibilities
- Ability to help implement internal systems relating to Materials and Production control.
- Supervises daily activities of the Materials department’s Materials Planner.
- Plans, directs, coordinates all inbound, outbound movement of material within the JIT manufacturing facility.
- Responsible for all material movement and Inventory control within the facility.
- Responsible for all direct communication to and from all Customer.
- Assists the Materials Manager in determining and managing appropriate manpower requirements.
- Assists in managing daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventory reconciliation.
- Participates and leads process improvement projects: productivity, quality, ergonomics, etc.
- Trains new and transferred employees on their job duties and responsibilities, cross trains as necessary.
- Ensures employees are consistently adhering to standardized work processes and rotation schedules.
- Ensures all Company policies, procedures, plant standards and safety rules are consistently adhered to.
- Collaborates with the Department Manager and Human Resources Manager in the administration of disciplinary action, when necessary.
- Monitors, maintains and records employees’ time related to the Attendance Policies (e.g., vacation, medical day, bereavement, jury duty, etc.) and ensures required time off requests with supporting documentation are processed completely and timely.
- Provides timely feedback on work performance including but not limited to safety/housekeeping, quality/accuracy, quantity, attendance/punctuality, job knowledge, adaptability, initiative, teamwork/communication, judgment/comprehension. Ensures timely completion of performance reviews based on established schedule.
- Supports and enforces the principles of the Company goals and objectives, and decisions and policies by taking ownership and communicating these in a positive and supportive manner.
- Displays a positive attitude towards safety, works safely and follows all the Company's safety policies and procedures.
- Responds to and investigates all reports of injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses and property damage immediately.
- Maintaining a safe workplace environment.
- Following up Materials Planner supplier short shipment to avoid any line stoppage on the production floor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree in business or computer related studies or relevant industry experience
- 5 years or more experience in Materials/ Production and Scheduling.
- Must have excellent people skills, ability to handle diverse personalities and able to work across departmental lines effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of computers & ERP systems
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
