**PURPOSE**

The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises the inventory control team, ensuring the integrity of all inventory transactions, inventory audits and cycle counts are completed with accuracy and on time as required. This role also maintains inventory and supports a safe work environment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

(Principal Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned).
- Key transfers between warehouses as required
- Lead annual physical inventory
- Reconcile shop orders and batch sheets
- Reconcile problems with transfers of finished goods and componentry, raw materials
- All high dollar value inventory adjustments
- Receipt returns on receivers
- Process customer returns
- Maintain shop orders and batch sheets according to the schedule/plan, so demands are reflected into MRP for purchasing
- Modify shop orders/batch sheets that require a different bill of material as needed
- Reconcile month end problems
- Receiving on finished (service charges) - componentry, finished goods
- Run month end reports
- Responsible for the integrity of the inventory services department
- Reconciliation of all 3PL warehouses for PC
- Prepare cycle counts weekly/monthly
- Create shop orders/batch sheet as required
- Generate service shop orders for service items as requested from purchasing so demand is reflected in MRP
- Confirm formulas and calculations on all requested batch sheets
- Confirm and verify if requested batch sheets require a signature by R&D
- Request finished goods as required for production
- Monthly reconciliation of damages and lost location at Kenway facility
- Updated expiry dates on DIN chemicals
- Generate an expiry chemical report
- Provide/comments on a shop order variance report provide by Finance
- Run system reports as requested by Senior Management
- Work in a safe and respectful manner throughout the organization
- Special projects as requested

**PRIMARY INTERACTIONS**:

- Production supervisor, QA, R&D, Accounts Payable, Receiving Supervisor, Purchasing, Finance, Production Manager, Compounding, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable
- Vendors, CDS warehouses

**COMPETENCIES **(Behavioural & Technical Skills)
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse systems required. Adage/Assistics strongly preferred
- Complete knowledge of warehousing, shipping and inventory control policies and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proven ability to achieve results through persistence, appropriate allocation of resources, strong communication and math skills, and good judgment
- Working knowledge of purchasing, customer service, accounting, warehousing, and transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**
- Degree/Diploma in a related field
- 3 - 5 years’ work experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred

Office environment utilizing the phone and computer frequently. Requires mínimal physical effort. Some travel required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where problems occur, and volumes are heavy. Tasks do not expose employee to physically unpleasant or hazardous conditions.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
- $65,000- $75,000 CAD (commensurate with experience and location).
