Edmonton, Canada Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta Full time

**Stewardship Coordinator, Campaign**
**Ronald McDonald House Charities® Alberta**

Ronald McDonald House Charities® is passionate about providing a home away from home for families with seriously ill or injured children. Seventy per cent of Canadian families live in an area without a children’s hospital. This means that when a child is seriously ill or injured, families must leave their homes, jobs and support systems to access vital - and often life-saving - medical care.

We know that when a child is sick, the whole family hurts. That’s why we’re part of a global network prioritizing family-centered care through our unique core programs. We offer 87 private family suites in Edmonton, Red Deer, Medicine Hat and Calgary. Our Ronald McDonald Houses provide a warm, compassionate and comfortable environment where families can share experiences, eat a warm homemade meal and rest while caring for their child in the hospital.

Over 65% of families live outside of a city with a children’s hospital. Ronald McDonald House Charities, Alberta alleviates the financial, emotional, and physical burdens placed on families who must travel long distances for the specialized care their sick or injured child needs. But even with all the families we’ve helped over the last 36 years, we are serving only 14% who need to travel for pediatric care in our province. The wait list every night in our Calgary and Edmonton Houses point to the urgent need to expand. We will be nearly tripling the size of both our Calgary and Edmonton Houses.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Campaign, the Stewardship Coordinator, Campaign is responsible for the execution of the stewardship plan for the Capital Campaign.
