**Customer Service Representative (part-time)**

**Company description**:
Sing Tao Media Group Canada (STMG) has been serving Chinese communities across the nation for over 46 years, connecting with more than 1.7 million Chinese Canadians through its digital, radio, and print platforms. STMG also boasts a strong presence in ecommerce and online classifieds.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline ambassador for our company, managing customer inquiries across various channels and ensuring a seamless user experience. Your role will also involve supporting the day-to-day operations on our platform

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Support**: Handle incoming phone calls and online inquiries with professionalism, patience, and empathy.
- **Lead Generation**: Assist in generating sales leads by providing relevant product or service information.
- **Issue Resolution**: Address customer complaints and concerns, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within set timeframes. Follow up to ensure complete resolution.
- **Platform Operations**: Assist customers with the ad placement process and provide guidance on using the platform’s features effectively.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and actions taken to resolve issues.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in customer support or as a Client Service Representative (preferably in ecommerce or online platforms).
- Strong phone handling skills with an ability to actively listen and provide clear communication.
- Familiarity with online platforms and operational processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle complaints calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required
