**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Process & Customer Service, this role is responsible for the delivery of the Corporate and Long Term Care Homes portfolio facility maintenance and small projects within the Energy, Fleet & Facilities Division.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Receive, review and prioritize incoming maintenance issues.
- Coordinate scheduling of demand maintenance (DM) and repairs with internal staff or contracted services vendors.
- Schedule routine preventative maintenance (PM) tasks throughout the facilities
- Review and plan maintenance deficiency repairs resulting from preventative maintenance (PM) services performed.
- Manage small maintenance projects and risk management incidents for assigned properties.
- Log and maintain accuracy of maintenance activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Consult with Operations Supervisor on major issues related to damage to property or equipment/mechanical failure.
- Liase with onsite staff to advise of maintenance activities that affect staff working in the affected facilities
- Ensure compliance to the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Building Codes, relevant Acts, Regional policies and procedures in the performance of all work.
- Provide quality customer service through effective communication, a positive attitude and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Complete financial duties such as monitor and track costs of activities performed, create purchase requisitions, initiate Ebid submissions, prepare and approve invoices for payment.
- Produce and interpret periodic maintenance management reports as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in building environment systems and project management.
- Proficiency in maintenance management and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, structural systems and project estimation experience.
- Must possess a general understanding of all related legislation including the Occupational Health, and Safety Act and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as a strong ability to work in a team based environment.
- Experience with demand maintenance (DM) and preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling, and problem solving is required to respond to tenant inquiries and complaints.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
