We are a busy multidisciplinary medical clinic looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team

**Responsibilities and Duties**

You will be expected to:

- Welcome patients in person and on the phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls and deal with all inquiries
- Schedule appointments
- Register patients according to established protocols
- Assist patients with completing all necessary forms and documentation
- Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
- Maintain and manage patient records and safeguard the confidentiality
- Maintain cleanliness of the reception area
- Respond to and comply with requests for information
- Complete other clerical duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)
- Post-Secondary Education
- General administrative and clerical procedures
- Working knowledge of healthcare insurance is preferred
- The medical reception experience is considered an asset

We are on Yonge St. in Thornhill, easily accessible by transit or by car.

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thornhill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
