**Manager - Design and Construction, Rail
- Atlantic (based in Moncton)**
**Chef - Conception et construction ferroviaire - Atlantique (base à Moncton)**

Based in Moncton, New Brunswick, this person will lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers working on various Rail projects. The responsibilities for the position will include, but are not necessarily limited to:

- Leadership of the local Rail team;
- Manage human resources within the department: hiring process, training, workload distribution, performance management and planning, conflict management;
- Resource allocation, planning and levelling across various simultaneous projects;
- Support project managers in their daily activities;
- Work closely with the Canada-East sub-region Rail Manager in order to develop and grow the local business (strategic planning);
- Participate in the preparation of budgets and proposals;
- Act as project manager and project director on various projects;
- Provide engineering support to various railway company departments;
- Coordinate and plan on-call services including emergency response within the team (engineering support on-site in real-time).

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements:

- Universtiy degree in Civil Engineering;
- 8 years experience, with 8 years experience on railway projects;
- Experience with freight rail projects;
- Experience in project management;
- Ability to supervise a design team (engineers and technicians);
- Demonstrates leadership, professionalism and team spirit;
- Great knowledge of the local rail markets (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Gaspésie, QC)
- Valid APEGNB, APENS and OIQ licenses;
- Valid driver's license;
- Bilingual (English/French), written and spoken;
- No criminal record.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 15 years experience, with 10 years experience on railway projects;
- Experience working with a class I railway in Canada
