**The Bread and Butter of the Position**:
This role will be responsible for coordinating the movement of our finished product between all points of the supply chain. The Logistics Coordinator will work hand in hand with our planning, production, and warehouse teams; leading the charge when it comes to external inventory management, carrier coordination, product movement, PO fulfillment and meticulous record keeping. This role will participate in developing and implementing new processes and procedures to meet the goals of our growing business.

The Logistics Coordinator will be expected to make recommendations for optimal carrier and storage selection and processes with the aim of controlling costs and increasing efficiency. This role will proactively resolve issues or discrepancies immediately using strong communication, numerical and interpersonal skills.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule carrier pickups and drop offs, ensuring accurate and timely communication between all stakeholders.
- Manage inventory levels at internal and 3rdparty storage.
- Accurately reconcile inventory levels using internal shipping logs and 3rdparty reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams with the goal of optimizing our processes.
- Track, analyze and present data to leadership using MS Office suite (must have intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge).
- Quickly resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Work with warehouse and receiving teams to ensure shipments and documentation is completed
- Review invoices, confirming charges accurately reflect services provided.
- Identify and problem-solve issues that arise with internal and external teams with the support of leadership.
- Work with leadership to develop and initiate new systems and processes.
- Special projects and/or tasks as assigned.

**Shifts and availability**:

- 8-hour days
- Monday-Friday
- Daytime - Start and end times are flexible.
- This is a full-time permanent position.

**The Ingredients You Bring to the Table**:

- Minimum of 2 years of Logistics Coordination Experience
- Highly adept at using many common computer programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and enterprise systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.

- A commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
- Previous experience in the Food industry is considered an asset.
