We are currently seeking a **Project Administrator** to join our team. You will be responsible for obtaining locates and road occupancy permits for excavation projects while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transaction's. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration with city officials, internal teams and field staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Utility Locating**: Manage the process of obtaining and tracking locates for excavation projects
- Formulate locate ready packages and construction folders
- **Permitting**: Manage the process of obtaining and tracking city permits and municipal consents for excavation projects
- **Accounts Payable**:Manage and process all accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment scheduling
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- **Communication**: Facilitate effective communication between internal project teams, municipal authorities, utility companies, and field staff
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain records of underground infrastructure locate data, permits, and related documentation
- **Issue Resolution**: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to locates and permits
- Demonstrated computer software proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel skills would be a strong asset
**Qualifications**:
- 1+ year of experience in the Telecommunications industry
- Proven experience as a Locate Administrator, preferably in the context of underground infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with utility locating processes, city permitting, and municipal consent procedures
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
- Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries
