**Position Summary**:
The Health Systems Analyst oversees onboarding and maintenance of users, manages the program’s Quality Assurance process, designs and reviews effectiveness of tracking tools, engages communities not yet participating in the program, and reports on the program’s usage to senior management and other stakeholders.

Full-time - 37.5 hours

Term - until March 2024

**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides onboarding support to community, including nurses, health directors, clerks in effectively using ImmsBC Health Management Systems. Provides program advice, support, and assistance to community ImmsBC project leaders and communities by responding directly to requests, and consulting with the program manager or senior team members to resolve inquiries
- Develops and maintains tracking and communication tools that can be shared by the team. Ensures that all existing data and information is moved to the FNHA format
- Completes routine and complex remediation related to ImmsBC and PIR and liaise with PHSA command centre for remediation needs that surpass position ability.
- Liaises with Immunization/Panorama teams as necessary, support Education/Training Specialist & Clinical Lead as needed.
- Develops tracking systems to ensure that reporting from community is compliant with eHealth requirements
- Conducts regular audits of program usage to ensure quality assurance and complies with program standards.
- Develops and delivers presentations to FNHA &FNHSOs (First Nation Health Service Organization) on ImmsBC program implementation.
- Analyses, compiles, and creates various reports for program manager, senior management, and communitiesin conjunction with FNHA panorama Team and PHENIX
- Presents and explains procedural information such as FNHA & FNHSO on-boarding requirements, specific report content issues, and forms completion questions to FNHA & FNHSO ImmsBC project leaders or communities who may experience difficulties with completing requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences or Social Sciences (i.e. Economics, Sociology, Statistics), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- An understanding and/or completion of courses in advanced statistics, and/or biostatistics, public-health analysis and/or evidence-based methods
- Master’s degree in related field considered and asset
- Experience- 4-6 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Relevant, recent and significant experience in data collection, data analysis and presentation of data to a wide variety of audiences (normally acquired over 2 years)
- Experience with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations
- Experience in developing proposals and briefing packages
- Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner
- Experience developing and maintain administrative systems, processes and procedures
- Experience with Indigenous Surveillance/Research Methods is an asset

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:

- Knowledge- Knowledge of, and ability to apply, an understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols in work situations.
- Awareness of the importance of First Nations cultural identity as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle for individuals within a community.
