**What this role looks like**:
The Oakwyn Communications Coordinator is an important part of the Oakwyn family. This role is a vital part in communicating our brand, message, and pertinent information to our agents and the public. A positive attitude and very strong communications skills are a must. The Coordinator assists with event planning, event promotions, community outreach, messaging, culture building and some administration. They work closely with the Director of Brand and Community as well as the Oakwyn Co-Founder to ensure the correct messaging is conveyed to the target audience.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Liaise messaging, targets, & initiatives from OMD (Oakwyn Marketing Department) to internal team members & Oakwyn community. Inform relevant team members on any updates and schedule changes for events, campaigns, and production tasks.
- Follow event progress and report any findings, inconsistencies, and troubleshoot any event roll out issues to necessary parties.
- Track production progress both internally and with our vendors. Report any issues, set backs, budgetary details to the Director of Brand.
- Be a second voice/eyes to ensure OMD directive is communicated to relevant team members on Oakwyn team, Agents, & Alliances after the project has been initiated by the Director of Brand & Oakwyn President.
- Assist with ensuring invoice and payments are reported and sent to Accounting
- Assist with event scheduling and assist with execution of events (both virtual and in person).
- Pre-planning: Gather vendor quotes & particulars while reporting to the OMD team. Gathering technical requirements or event information for the Director of Brand and President.
- Promotion: Assist Director of Brand with promotion & team communication of event (social media, Internal messaging, & announcements)
- Event Date: Coordinate event execution, Set-up, Event Production, and Take down.
- Post Event: Ensure participant feedback & communications, payment, return of equipment is all done & reported.
- Ensure Managing Brokers, Owners, or any Event Speakers have been briefed, prepped and properly set up for any speaking engagements or educational workshops.
- Be a key communicator for charity initiatives, business to business communications, and Oakwyn alliances.
- Assist with Podcast scheduling, episode description writing & promotion
- Upkeep & Editor of O Weekly (Oakwyn Monthly Newsletter)
- Copywriting for messaging, team memos, & promotions.
- Provide vacation relief & personnel backup for the Director of Brand.
- Assist in scheduling internal team meetings
- Ensure Managing Broker, Conveyance, Accounting, and Front desk initiatives are communicated to agents and internal team members. Do team check-ins to hear where everyone is at & if any internal messaging needs to be communicated to our agents or another team member or department
- Organize Team meetings & events and ensure everyone knows about them

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or Diploma in the arena of communications, language arts, marketing, liberal arts, or social sciences
- 2 years experience in business administration or production coordination role

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
