**Job Description**:
**What You’ll Do**:
Reporting to the Vice President in the Enterprise Solutions Office, you will help further develop our Vendor Management Practice. The goal of our practice is to create a superior level of engagement and partnership with vendors which provides strategic as well as immediate value and benefit.

The core parts of your role will be to:
**Practice Management**
- Consult on Vendor assessments, introductions and the engagement/selection of Vendors through RFP, RFQ, RFI type processes.
- Guide and coach stakeholders through the Vendor risk identification and assessment process.
- Support stakeholders through Vendor contract negotiations and execution.
- Manage and report on Vendor cost/reward and gain/sharing propositions and identifies opportunities to maximize reward against cost and performance.

**Relationship Management**
- Establish strong relationships with strategic Vendors and leverages OGC’s position to obtain meaningful preferential outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships and effectively communicate with OGC and external stakeholders, often at senior leadership and executive levels.

**Strategic Planning**
- Facilitate and inform the development of the OGC Vendor strategy with the Leadership/Executive team and other key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation and execution of the strategy.
- Facilitate Vendor strategic meetings, road mapping, and solution option sessions with leaders and SMEs to understand and align on future paths with Vendors and build/maintain relationships.

**Qualifications**:
**Let’s Talk About You**:

- Extensive experience managing Vendors with a diversity of size and type, including software development, SAAS and technology hardware.
- Proven experience in financial services, insurance, or related industries.
- Experience with cost benefit analysis, business case construction and presentation, Executive communication, and approval facilitation.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to plan and facilitate workshops, brainstorming and planning sessions, including process reviews.
- Proven success in building effective relationships with internal teams, all levels of management and with external partners and providers.
