Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information, include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.

The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

**About the Role**:
eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Analyst II - Compute & Virtualization to join the team and assist in the support of IT services that eHealth provides to health partners across Saskatchewan. This individual will possess excellent customer service skills along with strong technical and leadership abilities, be detailed oriented, take pride in their work and enjoy the challenges that go with it.

**What are we looking for?**
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Analyst II - Compute & Virtualization to join the team and assist in the support of IT services that eHealth provides to the Health Regions across Saskatchewan. The role is technology driven and will require technical knowledge with desktop, server, and mobile device management.

**Typical daily duties will include**:
Reporting to the Datacenter Infrastructure Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support eHealth’s Compute & Virtualization environment. This includes managing current state and assisting with solution design of future state. You will participate in creating and managing the work plans and process documentation as it relates to endpoint management. Other responsibilities include preparing status reports and managing issue escalations.

**To qualify for this position you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas**:

- Intermediate level Knowledge with all concepts and components of VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Cisco Unified Computing Systems, vSAN, vROPS, vRealize, vMotion, Disaster Recovery, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Intermediate level knowledge with VMware Infrastructure and Enterprise Class Virtualization Solutions\Concepts. (i.e., VMware VADP, VMware vCenter, ESX, Hypervisors, VMware vSphere CLI, and VMware vSphere PowerCLI)
- Intermediate level knowledge with Virtual machines deployment and migration.
- Intermediate level knowledge with racking & installing physical hosts to run virtual servers in a cluster, deploy virtual servers
- Intermediate level knowledge with Windows Server (Domain Controller, Active Directory, IIS, LDAP)
- Stakeholder management / requirements gathering
- Troubleshooting & tier 3 advanced support
- Training of tier 2 & supporting them in issue resolution
- Life Cycle Management - Plan future growth and upgrades
- Design and implement collect technical solutions
- Stakeholder management/requirements gathering

**Knowledge or experience in the following areas would be an asset for this position**:

- Plate Spin, VMware Converter, VMAX, VLS, UCS and VCE devices
- Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
- Network Attached Storage (NAS)
- Storage Area Network (SAN)
- Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop administration
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Foundational knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of post-secondary degree or diploma related to Information Technology. In addition, you will have at least 3 years of experience working in an enterprise class IT environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
