In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide insight through visualization design, data modeling, data literacy, and story-telling with data. Using various data sources, you'll help design and implement data models that support mission-critical reporting and analysis, delivering insights that directly influence our business strategy and product development.

**You're Excited To**:

- Collect and analyze large data sets from a variety of sources & identify trends and patterns in data using statistical analysis techniques
- Develop and implement data tracking and reporting systems & self serve dashboards
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify areas for data-driven improvement, like a true team player
- Share your knowledge and passion for data accuracy and help establish and promote data standards, ethics, and best practices for data at Coconut.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and techniques in data analysis, and embody a learning & growth mindset

**What you Bring to the Team**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science), or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working in Python or R to perform statistical analysis, like a true code wizard
- Proficiency with data warehouse platforms, relational data models, and ETL processes (e.g., Redshift, AWS Athena, Postgres, Snowflake, and dbt)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Excel)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A natural curiosity that drives you to proactively find ways to grow, learn and innovate. You're looking for an opportunity to take initiative, make a genuine impact, and where your contribution will be recognized

While not required, it would be a bonus if you have:

- Skills specific to Looker & LookML
- Experience working in a SaaS organization and/or the financial industry
- Experience with a Modern Data Stack (especially in data catalogs and data quality monitoring)
