About the Role
The Heavy Duty Technician Specialist is responsible for ensuring our Hydrovac fleet's safe operational condition by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our line of trucks. This involves inspecting heavy equipment and performing quality repairs and preventative maintenance services of assigned branches' Hydrovac fleets.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect heavy equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating parts, and other routine work.
- Diagnose and identify malfunctions using computerized tools and equipment.
- Test equipment after repairs and make any necessary adjustments.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Licensed Heavy Duty Technician or equivalent (310T License).
- Minimum 3 years' experience with heavy equipment (Hydrovac or Vacuum Truck experience preferred).
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle (G license required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret work orders and technical manuals in paper and PC-based formats.
- Capacity to mentor an apprentice.

Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $42-$47 per hour, based on location, education, experience, and internal equity.
