Concord, Canada Hanon Systems Full time

Drive qualitative and timely completion of engineering cost calculations and insure permanent improvement and standardization of the group and engineering cost transparency. This role is for our Engineering site only.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Major Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Month End close is completed in line with the closing schedule communicated by Korea HQ.

2. Submit the Month End Report (MER), explaining variances between Actual & Budget to Bad Homburg Office

3. Coordinate with Bad Homburg Office the allocation of CTP [Core Technology Projects] spending for all EFP Manufacturing entities and the calculation of RAB [Reasonably Anticipated Benefit

4. Support planning, reporting and control of the NA Engineering costs by projects/programs.

5. Prepare and update Engineering costs per hour for both Machining and Labour activities on an annual basis.

6. Review actual project costs against budgets/Forecast with NA project leaders to manage negative deviations.

7. Maintain the General Ledger and its account structures in SAP

8. Review Balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis focusing on high-risk areas

9. Manage Cash Flows to ensure adequate liquidity is always available.

10. Work closely with Senior Engineering manager to ensure capital spending remain within the budget.

11. Review and approve all payments to vendors in SAP in order to comply with Hanon Delegation of Authority

12. Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget for upload from SAP to Hyperion.

13. Maintain service agreements with all parties including Engineering centers in Europe and Asia

14. Manage Quarterly and Annual audit with the external auditors, including preparation of working papers

15. Support Hanon Transfer Pricing Team with established royalty framework for recovering internally funded product innovation costs.

16. Ensure all weekly Timesheets are completed and approved by Managers/Project leaders in CATS system

17. Improves and implements the financial policies, systems and processes;
18. Establish relationship with departmental/Projects leaders that helps streamline accounting functions and operations

19. Ensure all internal controls are reviewed and maintained in accordance with the SOX requirements

20. Prepare and submit an annual claim for Scientific Research Experimental Development

21. Other duties as assigned

1. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (IATF 16949).

2. Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

**MANAGERIAL / SUPERIVSORY RESPONSIBILITIES (IF APPLICABLE)**:
Management role

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. CPA Designation (CMA, CGA, CA) or equivalent

2. University degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar.

3. Minimum three years’ experience in Controller role.

4. Experience in automotive industry is desirable.

5. Experience in project controlling

6. Project management skills and/or experience, with great attention to detail.

7. Deep knowledge of MS-Office and Hyperion.

8. Hands-on mentality.

9. Strong communication skills within international environment and technical aspect.

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
