We are a small South Etobicoke law firm practicing real estate, wills, estates, and corporate law. We are currently seeking a self-starting, friendly and organized person committed to providing great service to clients to join our firm as a Wills and Estates Legal Assistant / Law Clerk.

This is an in-office position. You must be able to reliably come into the office daily. You would be dealing directly with clients, both in person and on the phone so this position requires you to have great social skills and you must good at, and most importantly ENJOY interacting with clients. Our office is a great firm to become part of, with an energetic team and fun working environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Draft Wills and Powers of Attorney packages
- Prepare and file Estate Probate Applications
- Draft routine correspondence and legal documents using precedents

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 1-2 years experience as a paralegal, legal assistant or law clerk
- previous law firm experience/knowledge of Wills/Powers of Attorney and Estate procedures
- Strong command of English language, and spelling
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize and multitask
- Great customer service
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
- Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
- Proficiency with PC Law, LawyerDoneDeal, Apple computers an asset but not essential

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Full-time in-office position with working hours from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday to Friday. (flexible hours an option)

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
