We are looking for a **Full-Time ( 40 hours / week), Permanent, Direct Support Professional 2 / DSP2 on the **_**Mobile Team**_
- be a creative thinker with strong multi-tasking ability
- possess technical aptitude
- be willing to work within a **flexible** schedule ( Monday - Friday with a rotational weekend day)
- have great communication skills
- be able to work in homes with pets

The mobile team takes a unique approach supporting individuals with developmental disabilities who are living independently in the St. Albert and Edmonton communities. The team consists of 4-5 staff, who work collaboratively to support approximately 10 individuals with day-to-day living skills, recreational and career/volunteer pursuits, and assisting to develop meaningful relationships/connections in the community.

**Position Requirements**:

- Emergency first Aid & CPR/AED Level C, or willing to obtain it prior to employment
- Own a reliable vehicle with third party liability insurance of $1 million
- Possess a Class 5 driver’s licence
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Due to to wait times to receive a criminal record check with vulnerable sector, applicants who are invited for an interview are encouraged to request the check from their local RCMP/Police detachment **prior** to the interview.*

**Salary**: $20.52-$27.00 per hour

- In this position, you’re required to provide personal care assistance to adults with developmental disabilities, which may include, but is not limited to toileting, hygiene routines, or dressing. Training is provided to staff who will be performing these tasks. Are you willing to provide personal care to adults with disabilities?
- Are you able to work in a home where there are cats and/or dogs?
- Do you posses or are you able to obtain a clean and clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector, newer than 6 months ?
- In this position, staff may be required to provide mobility assistance to adults with disabilities including performing lifts and transfers. Staff may also be required to be physically active and on their feet during their shift for extended periods of time. Do you have any limitations that would prevent you from performing any of the above noted tasks?
Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 drivers licence (required)
