Universal Collision Center in Regina has a permanent full-time position open for an Auto Body Shop Assistant

As the Auto Body Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks around the shop to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.

If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working in a hands-on role, this position offers a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our auto body shop.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the auto body shop by performing regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces
- Empty garbage cans and dispose of waste materials in accordance with proper disposal guidelines
- Assist with organizing tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure they are easily accessible and in good working condition
- Help prepare and organize parts for technicians, ensuring they are readily available for repairs and replacements
- Support technicians and other staff members with miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and machinery
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and notifying the appropriate personnel when replenishment is required
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Valid class 5 driver’s licence
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting over 25kg, and standing for extended periods
