Toronto, Canada Indestructible MFG Full time

As the Production Coordinator, you will work closely with the Creative Director and General Manager to ensure the production schedule is on time and on budget. We’re looking for a self-starter. Someone who enjoys responsibilities and challenges, who’s cool under pressure, eager to jump in on anything and accomplish great things on their own and together with a team. You will coordinate production with local and overseas manufacturers, communicate when payments are due and assist in scheduling product launches. We are looking for the best new teammate, who is passionate and motivated to learn, adapt and grow into the role.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Create and update documents, including product requirements, schedules, checklists, and more. Use photos and diagrams to convey key points visually.
- Carefully review samples; take photos, make detailed comments, and coordinate changes and improvements with the team
- Create and update plans and schedules. Solve challenges and ensure the highest quality products, delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Create quality checklists for each product. Ensure our products meet and exceed our high quality expectations, investigating root causes for any issues and finding solutions.
- Assist in programs to the Product Designers, and monitor the status to ensure key milestones/deadlines are met
- Support and provide ongoing feedback to the Creative Director and General Manager
- Work with the Product Development Team members to find creative solutions when they encounter issues or unexpected delays with vendors and the internal team
- Ensure that issues and delays are communicated efficiently and effectively with the team and provide creative solutions/suggestions to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with departments to improve processes and eliminate bottlenecks to ensure production milestones are being achieved
- Liaise cross-functionally on matters related to capacity, process change and challenges
- Update budgets

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma, degree or Certificate in Illustration, têxtiles and/or design
- People management experience
- Knowledge of têxtiles, and cut and sew construction would be ideal
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be ideal
- Highly organized and extremely detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
