**KEY ACCOUNT SPECIALIST - Contract**

Join our small dedicated national team as a **Key Account Specialist - Contract.** This full-time contract role is the primary business contact between producer partners and Circular Materials. This role will oversee the business relationship between a portfolio of producer accounts across Circular Material programs and client programs supported by Circular Materials. As the Key Account Specialist, you will serve as an ambassador for the organization, focusing on building relationships with newly recruited producers. The Key Account Specialist will deliver high-quality, consistent service as a knowledge broker and liaison for producers. The role will ensure that all producer reporting requirements are fulfilled promptly and accurately, contributing to each program's revenue objectives. Circular Materials is seeking the support of an experienced account manager with outbound sales experience.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Build new and maintain current business relationships with producer accounts by ensuring all their assigned portfolio producers are aware of their regulatory and program obligations for all applicable programs, continuously improving the producer’s experience.
- Work closely with producer contacts, senior leader and account managers to develop and maintain business relations, program retention and loyalty.
- Clearly inform producers on policies, rules, contractual requirements, legislation and regulations relating to the reporting of designated material tonnages and payment of fees.
- Ability to review submitted producer reports, analyze; interpret numerical data, and detect anomalies, to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Be responsible for achieving key performance targets, related to on time reporting, report accuracy, reduction of adjustments, for an assigned portfolio of producers.
- Prepare and report on performance metrics.
- Utilize CRM/SAP to maintain timely and accurate customer requests for service, customer profile records ensuring proper documentation.
- This position will also be required to support inbound (triage) activities for small and medium sized businesses during times of peak service volumes.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you bring**:

- Minimum two (3) years of progressive customer service experience. Knowledge of CRM, managing customer behaviour and conflicts, building customer relationships.
- Post-secondary education - ideally in Business Administration or Account Management - is preferred or equivalent Account management experience.
- Experience with contract management/client management
- Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills, strong research capabilities.
- Interest in environmental issues and how businesses contribute to good environmental performance.
- Flexible, adapting to new and changing tasks and can multi-task in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable learning new online tools. Working knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
- Experience working in a call centre or in a similar office environment would be an asset.
- Bilingualism is an asset for this role (French/English).

Circular Materials is a national not-for-profit producer responsibility organization (PRO) that serves, represents, and supports producers in building more efficient recycling systems across Canada. We have a full service offering to support producers with meeting the requirements of extended producer responsibility (EPR) recycling regulations. These services include collection, management, promotion (education), and reporting.
