**Role description**:
We are seeking an experienced project manager who can manage multiple projects in parallel, across Gen’s diverse digital project portfolio. Managing a varied and diverse customer, supplier and colleague stakeholder community, you will have a relentless commitment to delivery and demonstrable commercial awareness.

As the primary point of contact for internal projects, you will lead from the front, employing your communication skills to establish a shared sense of direction and commitment to common goals. You will be comfortable securing structure and purpose where there is ambiguity, and adept at managing change and securing opportunities to learn and adapt.

You must be able to lean on your project management experience to demonstrate control over all aspects of the project(s) you are working on, from invoicing and budget management to resourcing and reporting. In addition to this, you are responsible for the non-line management supervision of your project team(s), maintaining project team accountability for tasks and the day-to-day delivery.

**Role accountabilities**:

- **Delivering internal project commitments**:You will lead the delivery of internal projects, ensuring that they are delivered to time, cost and quality.
- **Delivering customer-facing project commitments**:On occasion, you may be asked to support or lead the delivery of customer-facing obligations, ensuring that they are delivered to time, cost and quality.
- **Effective communication**:Communicate efficiently and effectively with project stakeholders, including our customer, our suppliers, our project team members, and other Gen stakeholders in relation to project design, progression, and decisions.
- **Stakeholder management**:Develop and maintain close relationships with key project stakeholders, keeping them informed, receiving feedback, and ensuring that customer dependencies are managed optimally without impacting the project.
- **Deliverable management**:Your secure commitment to meeting project milestones, ensuring quality control and securing timely acceptance, thereby maintaining alignment to agreed invoicing schedules and cash flow projections.
- **Day-to-day project management**:You balance scope, time, and cost in terms of project deliverables focusing on overall team performance, aligning resources to upcoming deliverables, highlighting, and resolving day-to-day delivery issues, ensuring delivery requests and outputs fall within project scope.
- **Developing new business opportunities**:You clarify requests which fall outside project scope, sizing the opportunity, negotiating, and executing the change management lifecycle including working with customers to maximise the value to the customer and business value.
- **Problem Solver**:You lead incident resolutions; solve larger ambiguous problems; make judgements about when to diverge from the immediate goal to achieve something else

**Qualifications & Experience**:
We are looking for someone with experience of managing internal and customer-facing projects of various sizes. The person will be allocated a portfolio of projects across multiple internal areas/customers and potentially across multiple platforms and products.

This is a high-visibility role within Arcadis Gen and therefore we are looking for someone confident, able to communicate effectively with demonstrable Project Management experience.
